Google Ads - Setup & usage
Pull advertising metrics (impressions, clicks, cost, CTR, conversions, conversion value, ROAS, and related fields) from Google Ads customer accounts you authorise. Requires [Business+].
Before you connect
Use a Google account that has access to the Google Ads customer ID (account) you want to measure.
Elevale uses the Google Ads API scope to read campaign performance - not to change campaigns.
Review Google user data notice for retention and deletion.
Connect Google Ads
Open Workspace Settings → Integrations and connect Google Ads.
Sign in with Google and approve the requested permissions.
Select the Google Ads customer (account) to associate with this workspace when prompted.
Managers with access to multiple customers pick one per connection; change it later from Connected integrations if needed.
Create connected KPIs
Create a connected KPI on KPIs & Dashboards and select Google Ads as the source.
Pick the metric (data point) - for example spend, clicks, conversions, or ROAS.
Set sync frequency to match how often you review ads (daily or weekly is typical).
Use KPI detail view to confirm last sync time and history.
Disconnect and troubleshooting
Disconnect in Integrations to revoke OAuth tokens.
No customers found - your Google user may not have Ads access, or the account has no active customers. Verify at ads.google.com.
Wrong account data - reselect the customer ID in connection settings or reconnect.
Re-authorisation required - use Reconnect when the connection status shows expired or invalid tokens.
Disconnect and data retention
Disconnect from Workspace Settings → Integrations to revoke stored credentials and stop scheduled syncs.
Previously synced KPI history remains until you delete or convert those KPIs.
