Installation

Get started in minutes

Download the installer, run it, then sign in with your Elevale account. New teams can start a 14-day free trial during onboarding.

Windows

  1. Download the .exe installer and open it from your Downloads folder.
  2. If SmartScreen appears, choose More info, then Run anyway for the signed Elevale build.
  3. Follow the setup wizard, then launch Elevale from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
  4. Sign in or create your workspace to sync with the web app.

macOS

  1. Download the .dmg file and open it when the download completes.
  2. Drag Elevale into Applications, then eject the disk image.
  3. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open if Gatekeeper prompts you.
  4. Sign in with your Elevale account to load your workspace.

Linux

  1. Download the AppImage and move it to a permanent folder, for example ~/Applications.
  2. Mark the file as executable in your file manager or run chmod +x on the AppImage.
  3. Double-click to launch, or run it from your terminal.
  4. Sign in to connect the desktop app with your Elevale workspace.
System requirements

What you need to run Elevale

Elevale desktop uses the same account and data as the web app. You only need a supported OS version and a stable internet connection for sync.

  • An Elevale account is required. Use the same login as strategy.elevale.app.
  • Enterprise SSO and SCIM provisioning work the same as on the web app.
  • Antivirus or MDM tools may need to allowlist the signed Elevale installer.

Desktop app questions

Is the desktop app included in my plan?

Yes. The desktop app is included with every Elevale plan at no extra cost. Sign in with the same account you use on the web.

Does the desktop app stay in sync with the web app?

Yes. Direction, OKRs, KPIs, tasks, and team data sync through your Elevale workspace. Changes made on desktop appear on the web, and vice versa.

Why does Windows or macOS warn me about the installer?

Operating systems flag apps that are downloaded from the internet. Elevale installers are code-signed. On Windows, choose More info then Run anyway. On macOS, right-click the app and choose Open on first launch.

How do updates work?

The desktop app checks for updates automatically and prompts you when a new version is available. You can also return to this page to download the latest installer manually.

Can I use Elevale desktop offline?

You can open the app and review recently loaded workspace content without a connection. Sync, live KPIs, and collaboration features require internet access.
