This walkthrough covers provisioning a client from Workspaces through to a client-owned workspace ready for their team.
Before you start
Complete White-label branding so clients see your identity from day one.
For Self-Billing: purchase at least one license in Billing, see Understanding Licenses.
Top up your agency AI wallet so AI features work when clients start using the product.
For Stripe Connect billing or AI card top-ups, complete Stripe Connect setup first.
Prepare your client contract, support contact, and Privacy Policy / Terms URLs.
Create the workspace
Go to Workspaces and click Create Workspace.
Self-Billing: select tier and assign licenses from your pool. You invoice the client separately.
Stripe Connect (Automated): requires an active Stripe Connect account. See Stripe Connect setup. Client seats bill automatically through your Stripe account.
Enter workspace name and optional description. You can run a guided business brief wizard after creation.
Hand off to your client (Self-Billing)
With one license assigned, you initially occupy the owner seat.
Invite your client contact as Admin or Editor, not agency_admin.
While you are the only member, the platform allows the handoff invite even if the pool shows zero spare licenses.
When the client accepts, they become workspace owner and your seat is released.
Confirm the workspace shows one billable user under the client's account.
AI wallet for the client
If Stripe Connect is enabled at org level, clients can Top Up Wallet from Workspace Settings → Billing → AI Wallet.
Without Stripe, clients use Request credits; you approve from Workspaces after offline payment.
You can add ad hoc AI credits from the workspace card AI credits button anytime.
Explain that AI usage is metered and not unlimited.
Public signup link (Stripe Connect only)
When Stripe Connect is active and public signup is enabled in Reselling, copy your marketing signup link.
Uses your custom domain /auth/signup when domain verification is complete.
Otherwise uses strategy.elevale.app with your organisation referral parameter.
Self-Billing workspaces are invitation-only, you control provisioning manually.
Your support responsibilities
Provide first-line onboarding, training, and billing support to your client.
Do not direct clients to Elevale for issues you should handle commercially.
Escalate platform bugs or infrastructure issues to Elevale reseller support.
Ensure clients understand your Privacy Policy and Terms, see Agency and reseller data responsibilities.
After onboarding
Point client admins to Platform Documentation in their Company Wiki for product how-tos.
Monitor AI spend and license usage from Workspaces and Billing.
Invite additional client users when they purchase more seats or you assign more licenses.
